Suitable for all ages, this is a block of 12 × 30-minute in-person sessions for beginners, rusty players, or anyone who wants to get to the point where they can pick up an acoustic guitar and actually play songs.
No grades or exams. We’ll focus on chords, strumming, song structure and learning to sing while you play. No cut and dried formats - this programme is completely tailored to your (or your child's) skill level and how fast you/they are progressing.
The aim is simple - to get comfortable enough with the guitar that it can be picked up and played whenever and wherever you want!
Sessions are with a professional musician who has been playing live for over 20 years, with extensive experience performing and working with songs.
The 12 sessions can cover:
Basic open chords and chord changes
Strumming and rhythm
Tuning your guitar
Learning songs from start to finish
Playing and singing at the same time
Building a repertoire of songs you want to be able to play
Getting more confident playing without needing sheet music
Clients will receive continuous in person feedback to help keep improving - this is something you won't get from You Tube!!

Sessions are purchased in blocks of 12. There is no auto renewal, it's a completely tailored service to suit your pace and progress.
If you are keen to start playing guitar or play more guitar but singing isn't for you, I have you covered! These sessions can be built solely around developing your ability to play songs vs. singing and playing them.
